TUI WHERE IS MY MONEY
Comments

The whole holiday was booked through TUI in a store which has since reopened. The flight was most definitely cancelled (we were due to travel on 27 April).0

Have you been into the TUI store to discuss this with them?
I believe you have had a partial refund so do you know what amount is outstanding, what it is for? Have they explained why some payment back to you remains outstanding? Was it for something like rebooked flight seats or an upgrade? Sometimes if added on after and paid separately the transaction may need to be refunded differently, perhaps from another division (like TUI Airways).0 -

I believe you have had a partial refund so do you know what amount is outstanding, what it is for? I have not had any refund, merely a credit note for part of the cost of the holiday (which has since been deactivated) Have they explained why some payment back to you remains outstanding? All they initially said was "you should have had it by now - give it a couple more weeks" Was it for something like rebooked flight seats or an upgrade? Sometimes if added on after and paid separately the transaction may need to be refunded differently, perhaps from another division (like TUI Airways). I'm sure there was a reason for being refunded separately but communication has been woeful and the fact remains that despite many hours on the phone speaking to a plethora of TUI staff and going into the shop, I am still yet to receive 1 penny of refund (4 months after the holiday should have taken place). TUI have said that by raising a chargeback with AMEX it has delayed my refund (which, in all fairness is probably true) but after months of getting fobbed off with no clarity or timescale, what choice did I have?0
