Afternoon everyone
Dull and miserable here today. Just pottered about this morning and got a few jobs done with little one 'helping' me. She's asleep just now so I'll do my banking. This afternoon I'll either take her out in her pushchair or might just walk her round the block with her wellies on. She has the cutest little stripy wellies!
Hope you all have a good day9 -
I survived the dentist though MSE is right out the window. Turns out that the tooth is a very old crown which has got an infection. It needs root canal treatment then a new crown. As the root canal stuff are aerosol generating procedures (APG) the NHS won't currently fund them so I have to or lose the tooth. No contest!MMARIE - it's so lovely to read that your op is now on the near horizon, it's been a long painful wait for you. Once it's done you'll feel so much bettervery quickly. The dental surgery is just across the road from the new patisserie so it would have been rude to not buy a couple of confections.
Now it's time for DM's lunch and then a wait for the boiler engineer. So many days of doing nothing and now it's all go.
TAFF - sit down! Rest! 🎉

Gers that sounds very similar to what happened to my tooth, but my dentist went entirely private years ago. I've been reluctant to change because former workmates had some desperate horror stories about changing dentists.
Well folks I have managed to avoid the dread Friday Tidy entirely other than the bathroom and have been for a lively peaceful walk instead. I scavenged some rotten wood and then had a nice therapeutic time crumbling it up, the next bit was the best part because nth in that wouldn't rumble, I hit with a hammer. You cannot imagine the therapeutic potential of hitting things with a hammer, if you have anything to break up, please do give it a go. Your choice of internal monologue does not have to be shared. The bits are now in my compost bin, in crushed form.
I am quite dirty now but I knew I would be and decided to wear very old clothes, which really means anything not designated as work clothes or the best work clothes which are my going to our clothes. (Going to court for work I hasten to add)
Enjoy the remains of the day. I love that book.

I was jumping to conclusions and one of them jumped back9
