Good Evening all,
Urgent help required on which make of radiator to go for. I need a 1000w x 600h and a 1600w x 600h radiator.
Reading some reviews for Kudox and K-Rad I could see issues. So a quick ask to plumbers, heating engineers if they can recommend a good brand to go for that does not break the bank.
Thanks in advance

for standard white radiators, Stelrad have always been good0

A type 22 radiator is quite a bulky thing and sticks out from a wall by a lot. Are you sure you want something big & ugly on the wall ?I had been going to fit some type 22 rads here until I saw the size of them. Changed them to type 21 for a slimmer look. Went for the Kudox Premium range 'cos they were on offer from Screwfix. Her courage will change the world.
Treasure the moments that you have. Savour them for as long as you can for they will never come back again.1 -

We have Type 22's throughout and to be honest they are not that obtrusive. They are only about 25mm wider than the Type 21.1 -

I'm on my second full house refurb - Ive used Kudox all along and haven't had any issues. As for the 21/22 debate, if you can fit it in, get the 22. Unless you have a tiny narrow room you are unlikly to see the difference in day to day use, and they really do heat the room better.0

Don't know if quality is any better, but Toolstation still stock Kudox.Fitted a Kudox in my bathroom 5/6 years ago. It started to rust quite heavily along the bottom after only 3 years or so of use - Have now changed it, and will see if Flomasta is any better.

Generally Stelrad, but Myson do a good range of imperial size rads which can make replacement a lot easier in older properies.0

Interesting to know, I wonder if there are regional differences in fabrication / general weather / humity etc - Im in south wales if that helps.
My first house had them for 7~ years before moving and never had even the slightest issue, im 2 and a half years into the second and all the ones I installed on "day 1" are looking as good as the day I hung them.
