You need to excuse some of the wording of my posts because I am blind and you speech to text and it doesn't always understand my accent.
My thinking was that after this amount of time the claim would no longer be JSA and would possibly have transferred over to Universal Credit, unless of course the severe disability premium is in payment, delete that unless the IP gives us this additional information it is just a guess.
Because I said they are still on JSA it led me to believe that it is quite possibly an ESA claim instead, with the possibility of it being contributions-based with the support group element given the severe health condition.

As I said more a case of thinking out loud
No one on a legacy benefit is required to switch to UC yet (apart from a handful of people in Harrogate) because managed migration hasn’t started - unless they have a relevant change of circumstances.

(That must be very frustrating having your thoughts mangled by the speech recognition - I get frustrated enough at auto-correction/suggestion.)
Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Some rules may be different in other parts of UK.

It is very frustrating but it can also be very entertaining ;)
I know that Legacy benefits aren't being transferred yet but thought that once a claim went from contribution-based to income-related that would be the point where universal credit came into play.
As I said before there isn't enough information for anyone to do much more than speculate

Contribution based JSA is only paid for 6 months. You must therefore be receiving income based JSA. As soon as you had capital over £16,000 you were no longer eligible for income based JSA and any payments you have received are overpayments.
Thank you very much!  I have tried calling the DWP for the last few days but have been unable to get through.  I received a letter earlier in the week regarding annual review and asking for any changes to my situation and my savings/income.  I will try calling them again tomorrow but will also respond to the letter with details of my savings (copies of my statements) ,so that I can arrange to pay back any over-payments to them as soon as possible.  I will also ensure the council are made aware too, so that council tax can be adjusted/refunded to them ASAP too.
