PIP appeal and UC WCA

Options
I know this question is a bit like how long is a piece of string, but I was just wondering if anyone knew the current timescales for a PIP appeal (appeal submitted May last year), and a WCA for UC if just started submitting fit notes last week? I know there is the 13 week initial wait, but wondering if it was much longer than that?  I have just lost my part time job due to my ill health and money is really tight.

No idea of PIP appeal time due to coronavirus. 18 months does seem excessive even so. In some cases judges making provisional decisions on the basis of paperwork but they are not finalised unless claimant agrees. Try contacting HMCTS.
Once you have returned the WC questionnaire you may have a telephone assessment but may have to wait until F2F assessments are restarted. Regardless of the outcome the earliest you can become entitled to the LCWRA element is at the end of the fourth full monthly assessment period after you report the health condition.
Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Some rules may be different in other parts of UK.
