Credit Card - Initial Offers & Right To Be Forgotten
Comments
-
I’d say you’re disappearing down a rabbit hole, with your right to be forgotten. You could quite easily have all your details cancelled, but end up on a not welcome back list.
If your aim is to get deals, then as said further up, if you cancel your card, wait 6 months with most companies and you qualify for the new customer deals. In addition to that, MBNA and Barclaycard in particular have been quite good at offering reasonable deals for existing customers. I have a Virgin card which has had some uncompetitive offers, but they have improved in recent months.
Unfortunately, we live in uncertain times, and most companies are concerned about risk, so they aren’t making as many nor as generous offers as normal.0
