Waiting on Land Registry to complete

We are basically in a position to do a simultaneous exchange and complete tomorrow, except we are just waiting on the OS2 priority search to come back... Anyone else been in the same situation? How long do these priority searches usually take? My solicitor is chasing but I am finding it unlikely that the Land Registry will get everything back in time for tomorrow...

Hi Ryan. I see you asked the same question on the LR thread. It's probably best to wait to hear from the LR Rep.
My own experience is that I applied for an official copy of the register using form OC1, and I got the reply in about a week. You've been waiting 3 months!
It's possible things are held up if an application for registration is pending against the title. Do you know whether anything was done to alter the Land Registry entry for the property recently?
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -

The LR rep said on the other thread it should be 2-3 days. My experience of a week is using the post, whereas your solicitor has an electronic link.To be frank, he should have been chasing this weeks ago. Something wrong there. No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0

OS2 searches are generally returned within a few days. They start from the date of the order, and only last 6 weeks. So I don’t think you have the full picture...That being said, your solicitor (assuming they are a solicitor) could just check Land Registry’s ‘day list’ of applications, where your priority search would be noted with any prior applications to determine risk.0
