Car Driven Into - How Much To Repair?

Woke up this morning to find some delightful person had driven into my car overnight. They hit it with enough force to shove it up on the kerb, but fortunately it's still in a drivable state, just some not very nice scratches down the driver's side.
Annoyingly my dashcam's G sensor either didn't trigger, or the battery was dead (I'd not driven since Monday), and the nearby shop's CCTV doesn't cover where I was parked so I've got no evidence to track down who did it so unlikely my insurance would cover it.
Are there any bodywork experts who can estimate how much it might cost to privately repair the damage? Looks like the panel by front wheel arch and both driver's side doors on a 2020 Ford Puma. Just wondering if it's worth doing it privately instead of going through insurance as my excess is £550 and don't fancy another claim when I'm doing quotes next year (although my NCD is protected)

  • Is it just body damage? Is the suspension OK, does it drive normally?

Cheapest option might be to just live with it. Have you contacted the police?

OP won't want to just live with it on a brand new car.
Repair is going to be an insurance job.
Should be reported to the police.

In ops other thread it already has been reported to insurance. But OP was asking there if it was vandalism or uninsured driver claim.

Annoyingly it's a lease, so I can live with it for a little while but would need to be all spick and span before handing the keys back in 2 years time.
Have already reported to the police but as there's no evidence to review they've said there isn't much they can do apart from give me a reference number.
