Good morning,
Im new to this so im hoping i may be able to get some help.
I had a business back in 2016 and had a debt with a building supply company which i received a CCJ for. I have looked at my experian credit report and they have given me another CCJ for the exact same debt but with an additional £200 pounds added on but can not find anything as to why there is 2 CCjs for this same debt but with more money added on. I cant find any information that says they are able to do this or not do this so any help would be really helpful.
I dont know if i should approach the company themselves or what to do really.
Any way thanks for reading and hope there is some advice and help i can use.

You can't have two CCJs issued for the same debt so either it's another debt you owed or someone has made a mistake. They're the only ones who can resolve whether it was for a separate debt so you're going to have to approach them. If it was for the same debt then you may be able to challenge the second CCJ. Was the business a Ltd, if it was were you acting as a guarantor, or were you sole trader?

It was a Ltd company but I didn't realise I had signed when opening the account to be guarantor. When they issued the CCJ it was invoiced for 1 outstanding amount but I got 2 ccjs one for 800 and the other for a 1000 although I only owed 700 but I assumed interest and court fee was added making it 800. The other 1000 I have no idea about. Thank you for replying0
