I decided to give OnBuy a try but I had a bad experience. My purchase did not arrive and the Supplier was not responding to my emails, I escalated the issue to PayPal who found in my favour and I received a full refund from PayPal. So I have not lost any money.

I gave the Supplier a 1* review on the OnBuy website but it never appeared. I left it a while and then asked OnBuy Customer Services why the post was not on the site and was told that all 1* & 2* reviews were sent to their review team.

A week later I contacted OnBuy again and was told my review was still with their Team waiting to be processed.

So I checked the OnBuy site's product and company reviews but could not find any reviews of 3* or less, all the reviews were all 4* & 5*.
I find this very strange as even the best suppliers on Ebay have a few low star reviews.

I chased OnBuy again and nearly 3 weeks after submitting the review they confirmed it had been posted on their site.

So it looks like OnBuy only post 4* & 5* reviews which I believe is miss-leading their costumers. Would you trust a site that only displays positive reviews?

Check OnBuy.com and see if you can find any 3*, 2* or 1* product or supplier reviews

I have recently submitted a 1* review as I could not provide anything less, regarding an Apple keyboard sold as "new". It was received wrapped in bubble wrap in a plastic bag, without the cable or instructions usually provided and with no trace of the unique legendary Apple packaging. I reported this as a fraudulent transaction to Onbuy and submitted a review to ensure that buyers should be careful how they choose to respond to this purchaser. I had since found that I was not the only person to have complained. Onbuy did not publish my review but they have continued to allow this purchaser to sell on their site. I am quite surprised that they allow this to happen as they are trying to establish their market place as trustworthy but I would be cautious about using them again.
