Eurotunnel/train line refund

We purchased Eurotunnel tickets from London to Paris through trainline months ago and were due to leave on Monday 17th of Aug. On Tuesday 11th we then received an email directly from Eurotunnel that our train had been cancelled, we then looked into other modes of transport and booked flights instead.
We requested a refund to which they said they will only give Evoucher and that we need to go through trainline. Then 26 hours later we received a second email from Eurotunnel apologising for the cancellation and offering us a different time slot. By this time we over the 24 hour period to which we can cancel the flights. How do we go about getting the train refunded? During this whole ordeal it has not even registered on trainline that our train was cancelled at all.

As Eurotunnel say, you need to resolve via trainline if that's where you bought your ticket, what do they say? As I understand it, changes that would result in a delayed arrival by more than an hour oblige them to offer you a refund if you don't wish to take the alternative train, so that may give you the opportunity to get your money back from trainline....
P.S. At the risk of being pedantic, Eurotunnel operates the car shuttles between Folkestone and Calais, it's Eurostar that runs London to Paris services.0
