Don't believe a word they say- have you looked at Trustpilot
    Go straight for a chargeback.
Yeah I've seen Trustpilot isn't looking great - I thought I'd give them the benefit of the doubt for now, I'm going to be ringing back tomorrow to ask for an update, if they don't provide me with something immediately I'll be letting them know I'll be taking up a chargeback
I wouldn't mention chargeback if I were you, they get all jittery. When I brought it up they claimed it would slow my refund process down. Have you actually been managing to speak to someone when ringing?

My communication was all by e-mail - the problem was they would just send generic replies riddled with excuses and not answer any of the questions I asked.

That induced me to go for a chargeback without telling them and I got the money back within a week. If the Law is on your side and you have the evidence of trying to obtain a refund that they have ignored  it's an open and shut case they will find difficult to contest in the event of a successful chargeback from your provider.

To many people posting on here are sitting on there !!!!!! with their brains in neutral complaining about what has happened rather than utilising the Law in an attempt to get their money back. Why wait Months when you can sort it in days by being proactive ?
