Faulty item not being collected for return

On the 9th July I received a new tumble dryer delivery from very when I started to unpack it I found it was badly damaged so called to return to very they did the whole can’t replace till the return has been received speil. So the courier arrow xl txt me asking to arrange uplift so I go on to the link and no uplift in my area date. This has been going on since last month, when I phone very they say there’s a problem with their system they will call back which they never have done I’m always calling them, the courier company say theres a fault with their system and they cant arrange the pick up they will call me and I’m still waiting. I’m so sick of going around in circles it’s at least an hour every time I call to speak to someone and when I do they say they can’t do anything 😣 I told very not to bother replacing because I’m ordering elsewhere now. But I’m stuck with a 10kg dryer I just don’t have room to store. Any advice can u just skip this thing surely if they don’t pick it up within a certain time I shouldn’t be made to keep storing it for them it’s getting ridiculous.

Keep on at them. Don't skip it, they could pursue you for its value. Write to them telling them you will dispose of it in 7 days if they don't arrange a collection and make sure you set out the timeline so far. They've had long enough.0

Shouldn't have a 10kg dryer in that space it will make the dryer feel Claustrophobic.
I have one in ulitity room. I have heat pump one aswell I recommend.0 -
