    The vast majority of Wills are not contested. Even the contentious ones. The excluded party often stews in silence or accepts that there's no point in contesting. Or agrees a settlement which still leaves your favoured beneficiaries better off than under intestacy.
    Letting the Government distribute your assets on the grounds that if you make your own decision, the Government might change it (but almost certainly won't) makes no sense.
