Delayed refund

The travel agency have agreed to our request for refunding of flights we booked to go in August. This was due to Covid 19. It has been 3 months since the agreement. We have had replies from the company saying that we are in the queue for refunds. However they also they also said from phone calls that we will be revceiving email of the current stage of the refund but we didn't until prompted by our emails. Theyre proposed time of receiving the refunds were false. Any advice to who to contact for this severely delayed refunding process?

name of airline also. Travel agent will be waiting on refund from airline to be able to pass it back to you. Many airlines are processing in travel date order and taking weeks/months. I had a cancelled flight in April (booked direct with the airline) and received the refund last week.

I waited 5 months for my cruise refund from planet cruise . I finall took action when they didn't reply to my latest e mail. Although i paid via direct debit, my bank (Santander) was able to refund me the three payments i had made within three days. It is really worth talking to your bank .
