IANAL, but something more along the lines of "my main residential property at the time of my death".This was nearly the scenario with my mother's will ( except it took so long to sell her flat this didn't come to pass) and that was drawn up by a solicitor !3 -
Thanks again-there was no mention of any residue being left to anyone and also friend realised since no mention of house contents either which she wanted to rectify. From previous comment re not my business I acknowledge this hence my not saying anything at the time they informed me of this and showed me the documents but after lates conversation where person was visiting the house and didn't seem to be a proper legal rep/solicitor I felt I couldn't ignore it as concerned something amiss esp as wording didn't seem right to me. I decided I would say what my concerns were and leave it at that which is what I have done
