Nationwide closed account

Hi,
I’ll try and explain and keep it as short as possible. I tried to view my accounts a flex basic and flex account (current) online and one account was missing I phoned nationwide and they said one account was under review and the earliest they would contact me was the 21st of August I enquired what it was about they could only say reports of a fraudulent deposit all I could think of was that a problem I had with PayPal where someone had disputed a payment with there financial institution I know this because I received an email from PayPal. Then two days later my other account disappeared same information as before I phoned two days ago and all they could say was both accounts were due to close on the 9th but they haven’t I had been waiting for a withdrawal from an online casino for £1300 which I requested on the 18th of July but it was delayed as I was going through the verification process with said casino I’ve phoned today as my withdrawal was approved earlier tonight to ask if any deposits would bounce they advised me at nationwide that the accounts actually hadn’t yet closed and the deposit of £1300 is now in my balance the notes on the review were I am entitled to DWP and salary where does this leave me now? Will I get my money back?
Thanks,
Ben

Who knows?
I would open a new bank account as soon as possible and redirect your DWP and salary.
What will be will be, if the Paypal monies that you received were dodgy you may not get that back.1 -
I already have another account which has been open for a long time so no concern there I just want to know if they can legally keep my £1300 that has reached my account today from an online casino? They said the accounts would be closed on the 9th clearly not and the withdrawal has reached and been credited to my account

Due to close isn't the same as would be closed. The 9th being a Sunday makes it somewhat improbable as well.0

If the money is legit - you will receive it eventually.0

From similar threads and posts on here, the other alternative path for your money is "returned to source", which means the £1300 would go back to the Online Casino.0
