Electrical installation work - no certification!!!
A. BS7671 electrical safety certificate
B. The installers building regulations compliance certificate
c. The building control completion certificate
The electrician was a family friend and we never received any of these. Unfortunately we now also have no way of contacting them either!
Does anyone know if it’s possible for an indemnity policy to be taken out on this or what options I have here?

"We do not have them. The buyer is welcome to commission an EICR if they are concerned."7

We don't have the right certificate for our boiler. It was out in 8years ago and has been serviced recently. Can't see it being a problem tbh.
We have electrical certificates, but I wouldn't be worried if we didn't. Work was minimal and done years ago. Just my natural organisation means we still have them.Debt free Feb 2021 🎉0 -
How many years ago was this work done?No free lunch, and no free laptop

The work was done almost three years ago. I’m not entirely sure how mandatory they are! I know certain things like an EPC you have to have, not sure if electrical work is the same

The maximum window for the local authority enforcing a failure to get sign off is a year.0
