PPI Fees

Hi , I wonder if anyone is able to give me some friendly advice.
This is the short story in : August 2016 I instructed a claims company to look into one of my bank accounts claims . I signed the LOA ( which was for only for the one account and not all of my accounts with the company) and they started looking. My bank contacted me and said that I had other accounts and they would look into those . So in Sept 2016 . I had around 1000 back from the PPI that the claims company started and I paid it straight away to the CC. Then I had a around 1000 from my other account. Around 4 months later the CC then invoiced me asking for the money for the other account. For the past three years I have asked them to provide me with proof of the LOA. They have been unable to do this In march this year they contacted me again and said and sent through a LOA. It does look like my signature but it is signed 27/11/2017 . 14 month after settlement of the PPI. They have sent my case the debt collectors as they said that I still owe them the money. I can not remember signing any document and why would I sign a LOA 14 months after I have been paid. My question is if they are relying on this letter as proof that I have authorised them to act on my behalf, surely it would be only from that date ? Any advise would be grateful appreciated Thank you .

If they had no LOA then make a complaint to them that they are not acting legally. Wait eight weeks for their response. Then forward to the FOS.That's if you are absolutely sure they had no LOA.Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi0

The loa they have is 14 months after my ppi was placed in my bank . So at that time they did not have a loa0

Hi looking for some advice, last year PPI company kept calling me (one of many) looking for me to sign up with them. I explained that I'd already tried and got nothing, they said they could try again on a no win no fee basis, so i agreed to sign (july2019). couple of months ago i got notification of a successful claim and got the cheque through and promptly paid the fee.(£270) Today i received a letter demanding payment of £190 within 7 days for 4 hours work carried out by them to another creditor who has informed them that i already had an unsuccessful claim. They are claiming this fee saying i did not disclose previous claims to them- i did every time they called me. I am concerned not only that i have this demand for immediate payment but they have info on a number of creditors from me and are saying that where you have more than one claim with us - each is dealt with and may be billed separately. Also they have said that any cancellations of claims will be billed at £95 each - not sure where to turn
I suppose my questions are
As a no win no fee - and as been verbally advised i tried before unsuccessfully, does this need to be paid?
how long does a PPI contract last with a company?
As if this year could get any worse!!
Any help much appreciated

Many of the CMC contracts have a timewaster clause. One that allows them to charge for work done when someone has already complained previously.
how long does a PPI contract last with a company? It generally ends within 6 months of the final outcome. Although that is different from payment which is longer.
You need to raise a formal complaint stating that you told the person you had complained previously and been rejected and that they said that didn't matter and they could try again. If they reject your complaint then you refer it to the FOS.
