I am having trouble getting my money back . I booked my holiday with shearings' through a travel agent but every time I phone the company they say somebody from one of there shops will get back to me . I have tried to get my money back through the bank because I paid on my card but apparently they can not help me because i booked it through a travel agent. I don't know what to do know.

I thought Shearings went into administration ? I believe the name and customer datbase has been bought from the administrator by another company but I donlt think they'd be responsible for dealing with past bookings.  What company exactly  are you phoning ?
Is it the Travel Agent you booked through ?

I dont think you have a leg to stand on tbh.
As they say, you didnt pay Shearings, you paid the travel agent.
They would have pasaed your money to Shearings.
make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.

Surely the card provider are liable though ?
Does the fact a TA was used mean the OP has no recourse.

S75 claim may fail as  payment was not made direct to supplier of service therefore the  card company can claim there is no direct  link between them and the supplier ( Shearings).
This is a hazard of paying through a  third party.

You need to start a claim against the bond of Sherings, your agent could have but clearly hasn't done so, so  here are the details www.submitaclaim.co.uk/shearings
