Replace Windows on UPVC Porch?

My upvc porch is small 6ft wide and 5ft out from the house with a small wall, windows, door and tiled roof.
I would like the windows changed and have had some quotes however, does anybody know how the roof actually stays up because i am concerned what will hold it up when the windows and frames come out, i saw one being done down the road which seemed to have some kind of wooden frame support for the roof but i can't see this on mine unless it's hidden, i wondered if the roofs are attached like those canopies that many now have which could explain it sort of bolted to the wall, all i can see is upvc frames!

Enjoy everyday like it's your last!

It may be the UPVC frames holding the roof up, at least in part. If that's the case, the window company should use temporary props to hold it up while they swap the windows.
If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.0 -

The plastic deforms and passes the weight on to the glass which, in extreme cases, could shatter without any warning.Depending on the shape and design of the porch, it may be possible to fit aluminium posts at the corners (these are used on bay windows). If not, you'll need to find some other way of supporting the roof unless it is a cantilever design (unlikely). Her courage will change the world.
Treasure the moments that you have. Savour them for as long as you can for they will never come back again.0
