If me and a friend go to eat in at KFC on Monday - Wednesday this month, and we order one of the KFC buckets that are clearly marketed and intended for 2 or more people, such as the "10 piece Family Feast", does both our Eat Out To Help Out discounts apply? 50% off for me and 50% off for my friend gives 100% off the price of the £14.99 price, which gets me a free bucket.

It's 50% off the total price up to £10 per person so no. 50% of £14.99 will be £7.50.Now a gainfully employed bassist again - WooHoo!3

I don't think you'll be able to get anything for nothing but nice try!

If you want to look at it that way, you are spending £7.50 on your half of the bucket, and your friend is spending £7.50 on their half of the bucket - so you each get 50% off - which is £3.75 each. So total to pay is £7.50.
But it's just the same as saying 50% off £14.99, so total to pay is £7.502 -
Thanks all for the clarification.0

If that ploy really worked, KFC would have to rename it 'Eat Out to Get Diabetes'...No free lunch, and no free laptop-1
