Faulty portable air con unit?

Pipe is straight out the cat flap and fills it completely, including pushing the outside flap up with the edge of the tube. It has to bend if I put it out the window due to the daft design of it. Does make you wonder if the people designing these things ever get sight of them afterwards or have to use them...? Drain point as the absolute lowest point and heat pipe only 4" off the floor with only a 1.5m pipe fitted.0

If it’s a fairly straight regular length exhaust with uninhibited airflow then I can’t see how a self evaporating model could be filling so quickly. You’ve ruled out most of the causes, have you had feedback from the supplier yet? Did you opt for the call back ?0

They phoned me back after about 3 hours and asked for photos... Sent them everything I could think of, machine running, full light on, pipe out cat flap etc. Now have to wait for them to come back to me. Typically it's out of stock now though so can't see a replacement coming before it cools down again.0
