Is it even worth trying to view properties?

There are certainly enough 90% products on the market to warrant you viewing. Do you have a current AIP? If you don’t it’s worth getting that sorted as some agents won’t let you view without.1

As above get an approval in principle in place and the estate agents will take you a bit more seriously.1

We've got an offer for a 90% LTV so definitely out there - try a broker if you are struggling!0

Get a broker! I was feeling exactly the same as you, so we spoke to a broker who got us a decision in principle, which really helped show that we were serious and viable buyers with the estate agents (and having a broker tbh, we shared her details). Had our offer accepted on a house and our broker somehow managed to get us a 90% LTV mortgage offer with HSBC in 5 working days (I was expecting 3+ weeks based on comments on this forum!). I feel that in this climate a broker is a must.
Good luck
