I'd try a hylauronic acid serum under moisturiser (the superdrug simply pure one, the ordinary or inkey list) with a plain moisturiser  - Given you've got it in your nose, is it perhaps related to facemask wearing (or washing powder?) Or the use of balsam tissues (which give me sore skin)

  • In winter I also feel dry patches on my skin which often trigger itchiness. For treating it, I use vaseline just before sleeping and drink around 8-10 glasses of water throughout the day.

The problem is that are dozens, if not hundreds of products out there.  I’ve tried loads over the last few years but I don’t think any one was significantly better for me, most were good.

I found some rich nightcream in TKMaxx that I had seen on one of the shopping channels.  It cost about £60 for 50mls and my TKMaxx product was £9.99 for 100mls.  Bargain!

If you have the budget then Clinique Dramatically  Different Is very good if you want one that is not too heavy.  It has a very good reputation and has been around for years.

have you thought about buying something from QVC?  They sell all sorts of things.  If you aren’t familiar with their policy you can try everything out at home and send it back if you don’t like it, no matter how much of the product you have used.
  • Hi Friend,
If you are getting mild patches, then it is better to apply a moisturizer for dry skin from any dermatologically recommended brands. Exercise regularly & sweat a lot, drink gallons of water & avoid using harsh soap items on your face.
