NEED NEW wc - existing one was from Bath Store

We need a new wc.. Complete unit. The existing unit came from Bath Store a few years ago and I seem to remember it was not a standard size. Would that make plumbing in a new one tricky? We should like one which is Victorian style with a lever and speedy refill between flushes.  Anyone got any suggestions?

whats not standard about it? Measure it and compare online and see if it is indeed standard enough to get easily?

What’s wrong with it? Unless it’s cracked you can replace all the parts. They are all really bog standard (pun intended).

I remember when we bought it, the plumber who fitted it said the outlet pipe from the u bend was at a non standard height. Also the water here is very hard and has stained the bowl around the flushing holes of which there don't seem to be that many  round the rim. I wondered if the number varied between designs. And it has always been very slow to refill.  Where we are staying at present (not home:) you can reflush very shortly after the last flush. With ours at home  you have to wait quite a long time for it to refill. Does this time vary according to the design?
