Should I get a new PSU?

Just after some advice. Few years ago I based on advice from here I built a super budget pc system based around the G4560 and a H110 board.
I went for this PSU
[Antec Earthwatts 380D](https://www.scan.co.uk/products/380w-antec-earthwatts-380d-green-80plus-bronze-fully-wired-17a-plus-15a-plus12v-1x-80mm-fan-atx-psu)
I have no issues with it at all.
Finally have money to upgrade so have gone for the Ryzen 5 3600 and a B450 board and 16gb ram. Keeping the same everything else (case, hdd's, ssd etc).
I don’t game so have a basic graphics card (GT 710 something I think) which I’ll use as the Ryzen 3600 doesn’t have any onboard graphics.
I’ve checked the wattage usage for the system and the 380w is more than enough but just wondering if it’s worth grabbing a new PSU anyway as I know it’s not a part you should cheap out on and I did go for the budget option Last time.
Eyeing up the Antec NeoECO Gold Zen.
But if it’s pointless then I won’t waste the money.
Thank you.

It'll be fine. Computers only take the power they need. The 3600 takes 65w, the board will take about 45w, memory is about 5v and your graphics card won't take much since it'll use power from the board. Quick calculation on the first website I found says 242w, recommends minimum of 292w so your 380w will be fine. The most power intensive part of modern computing is the power draw required to get mechanical hard drives going.1

When people say to not cheap out on a PSU, they generally mean not buying a no name Chinese one for silly cheap. Antec are a reputable company.1

I'd stick with what you've got for now. I've updated 1/built 2 pc's since 2008ish when I purchased a OCZ MX SP 600W (on offer). Still trundling along grandly after all this time. I will say I probably went mad with a bit of future proofing wattage size on initial purchase, but I'll stick with it until it dies and quickly order a next day replacement of something I've got my eyes on (I regularly check what's happening new models etc.)
Got 5 drives in a different combination plus graphics card etc.
I'm writing a book on plagiarism. It wasn't my idea.1 -
Many budget power supplies cannot put out anywhere near what they say on the label. You might want to read this Toms Hardware article (its from 2011, but the point still stands):You'll notice from the article a cheapy cheapy 750w power supply couldn't even output even half of that before it overheated and died. You won't have this issue with the Antec. A decent brand won't go pop at half load and will usually outlast cheap power supplies by far. My parents computer has a 350w Corsair in it, its been in there nearly 15 years now but has fed more motherboard and processor combinations (and cases!) than I care to remember.1
