Info needed about Ryanair boarding card (US citizen)

I have booked a flight with Ryanair and because I'm U.S. I have to go to the info desk at EMA to have my boarding pass stamped. Done this loads of times.
Something different now though. My BP is not a BP, there is no bar code on it. It looks like a BP but says "this is not a boarding card. You must go to checkin for a visa check."
Anyone had this recently? I'm assuming that they will then print my boarding card out there and then, but we all know assuming anything with RA is dangerous.

The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

Ryanair chat. Very occasionally it is useful.

I don't know if Ryanair is the same but when I flew to New Orleans with BA in February, I couldn't print my boarding pass having already printed hubby's.
Turned out it was because good old Uncle Sam had chosen me for enhanced security checks and it needed to be printed off at the checkin desk. The enhanced security checks was interesting though!0
