I have been paying a ccj off for nearly 5 years now and I still have around £1300 to pay off a original amount of around 2k,total amount was approx £3700 which included 2 enforcement fees, charges and interest etc to the debt agency
If i rang them and said I have say £500/600 i could get off a family member for an early reduced settlement(like i have done with a credit card in the past) are they likely to agree to it?or is a ccj a different going on?

They might, they might not.
No harm in asking I suppose.0 -
You could. They’re not obliged to accept it. And the CCJ will still be there.0

They'll take the money but they've not really got any incentive to go back to the court and to notify them the CCJ is settled. Still don't ask, don't get.

It will drop off your file in a year in any case. If you can settle it for £600 then do it.0
