SAAS Bursary - Household Income, separate households

Hi, my girlfriend’s daughter is starting a year’s teacher training and has been granted a bursary. Her mum and I are getting married, however we will in the short term continue to have separate households (her daughter is moving out at the end of the course and her house will be put on the market). Her daughter is worried that will need to declare my income and will lose her bursary, but if we are maintaining separate households then that presumably won’t be the case?

I would guess that a newly married couple claiming to maintain separate households will raise suspicion.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards.
