how long does a digital sicknote take to come to your phone?

I called my GP on Friday to request a sicknote, i was told it would be sent to my phone and no need to collect it, however iv'e still not received, does anybody know how long it usually takes to receive it? i don't want to bother my surgery if its normal for it to take a few days. They definitely have the correct phone number as i always receive my appointment reminder texts etc.

I've never heard of a fit note being sent this way from a GP. You will need to ring them.

“This new temporary system will enable people who are advised to self-isolate over the coming weeks and months to obtain a notification via NHS 111 online. This notification can then be used as evidence for absence from work, if required.”

They are calling it a digital isolation note.
