No, it's a means tested benefit, why would it be taxable?

Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Some rules may be different in other parts of UK.0

Although nearly all means tested benefits aren't taxable there is one notable exception. Income-based Jobseekers Allowance has always been a taxable benefit as was Income Support for the unemployed from its introduction in 1988 until JSA was introduced in 1996.
