Hi, I’m meant to be getting married later this year and my hen do was booked in December 2019 (pre pandemic) for this September. We’re due to go to Barcelona. Our accommodation is booked through Airbnb who are being really flexible and we should be able to cancel and get a full refund. However, our flights are still set to go, we are flying Ryanair and most of the girls have booked flights separately, does anyone have any advice on a way to approach this? Barcelona is currently in lockdown with no airbridge in place with the UK meaning all the girls will have to self isolate for 2 weeks on return, which is impossible to ask them to do when this will be unpaid for the majority. Please help!!! I know some have paid on a credit card but not all, we’re struggling to speak to Ryanair but I really don’t want anyone to lose out. Thanks!!

None of you will be able to do a chargeback or S75 claim vs Ryanair if the flights operate, as you are able to make the journey. The fact that you currently would have to quarantine upon return is not relevant. You might be able to claim on your individual holiday insurance policies, refer to the terms.
It doesn't matter if you booked on a credit card or debit card: both allow for a chargeback under the right circumstances, but disinclination to travel is not covered.
Your best policy is to sit tight and hope that Ryanair cancel the flights.
