Which energy companies insist on installing smart meter on gas and electricity

I have been looking to change my energy supplier but some suppliers (when you look into the terms and conditions) insist you have a smart meter installed within a set period with them. It would be good to identify these companies without having to go into the small print. As someone who works in the gas industry I know what smart meters are capable of and therefore want to hold out from being forced to have one fitted as long as I can.

Steer away from the big 6 and you will likely be ok. I don't remember the last time one of them offered a competitive tariff anyway. I've had recent good experience with Green.energy and Outfox the Market.
