My Post Office credit card payment is 'due' today (Sunday 09/08)
Fully accept I should have been more proactive and paid it a bit earlier but it just slipped my mind this month (Nothing to do with financial difficulty or anything)
Anyway I made a payment at 10:35PM on Friday 07/08
Payments made before 6pm are processed on the same day. Payments made after 6pm are processed the next day.
No mention of 'working days' just the 'next day'
Just to give it as much chance as possible I also sent through an additional payment via Bank Transfer to my account details and also set up a Direct Debit (which I appreciate won't help here but will ensure I don't forget in future!)
Just logged in today on the Sunday and there have been no updates to my transactions or as yet any notifications that I am 'past due amount' (past due amount still reports £0.00)
So do the systems only update on Monday with it being the weekend?  I suspect there would be no impact on my credit score if it was 1 day late just worried about losing the 0% promotional rate!

    Check Monday morning.
And pay no attention to your score.

I would phone them on monday to check that they processed the payment in time. If they did not then explain that you thought the payment should have been processed in time and you've now setup a direct debit to make sure it always gets paid in the future. I'd say I found it confusing that it says the next day, but doesn't mention days that it wouldn't happen on & it seems unfair that it's not spelt out in detail. Most companies will agree to waive any late fees and interest charges the first time, if you are really nice.

This is why you set up direct debits to at least pay the minimum so it doesn't matter if it slips your mind, the minimum payment has been made and you can make an additional one.

Just had chance to check up on this as I was away from home the past couple of days so didn't have my credentials to hand...

    Last Payment: £50.00 (10/08/2020)
    Next Payment Due: 09/08/2020

(Below details in relation to the payment I made)
    Transaction Date : 08/08/2020
    Posted On : 10/08/2020

So all very confusing really, no alerts or anything to say I missed / was late with a payment

I suspect you won't know for sure until you get your next statement.
