Unable to take over electric account

I moved house in May, filled in the online form to take over the electric account that was with EON, that advised that they would be in contact. Roll on July and I hadn't heard anything, couldn't find anyone to phone so filled in the form again.
It's another 2 weeks and I still haven't heard anything, is there anything I can do? I would like to change to the cheapest supplier but I don't have an account number
