    Hi,

It just sounds like a) they haven't updated your bill to show the correct meter or b) they have not received the details of your meter change from the Meter Operator hence have also not updated your bill.

Suggest you should write to the complaints dept which should be on the back of your bill. If you then don't get it sorted, write to Energywatch (details of their address are also on the back of your bill)

Energywatch will then liaise with your Supplier at a higher complaint level to sort it for you.

Don't worry, missed meter changes like this are quite common (sadly) but are very easy to resolve by your Supplier.

At the moment though, your bill is wrong so I would suggest you carry on paying what you would normally by DD (if poss) or at least keep the money to one side. Once this is sorted, you will be getting bill to cover this period so it will be larger than normal due to the extended period it will cover.

Your Supplier could always raise your DD over 12 months to cover this if you didn't have the money to pay straight away.

Don't call them though as meter change issues are often lengthy so call centre staff just hand them off to back office depts. Less hassle if you write.

desperate mum please don't write in capitals as it means you are shouting.

    Simply write to:
The Managing Director of Customer Services
    EDF Energy,
    Freepost 3815,
    Hove, BN3 5AW

Put the title "Formal Complaint" on your letter. Also put in your letter that you have complaint to them on the phone 3 times and will go to energywatch if they don't sort the issue out.
    I'm not cynical I'm realistic :p
