Renting- soft search- please help!

Options
Hi there, I'm looking for help particularly from anyone who actually performs these searches. My credit score is Very Poor currently. This is because I am paying off debt via an informal debt management plan and it has wld to some defaults due to my income being split equitably between lenders. I don't use any credit any more, I simply pay it off but my score is terrible.
I'm about to get checked for a rental flat and I'm really worried I don't pass the credit check. Is it correct that they can only see the public information? It would show I have no CCJs and IVAs, bankruptcy etc and that I'm on the electoral roll and so on.
I know that 'checkmyfile' website states that the above is all they will see and they seem very insistent on that. Does it vary depending on what site the letting agency use? Many thanks.

First off I hope you’re not paying for this DMP.

Also ignore the score and rating as no lender ever sees it.

Letting agencies only see what you’ve already discovered they will see.
