Just to clarify the situation with the SDP. I'm confused and moving soon into circumstances I will be eligible for it.
There was a court case the DWP lost, and claimants got compensatory amounts to reflect the lose of their SDP in that period.
However, this was for those affected by the circumstances in that case only.
So If someone were on SDP now and moved onto UC as a 'natural migrant', with the same circumstances, the UC wouldn't have any more amount like the SDP £ which is being lost?

You are legally excluded from applying for UC at the moment if you have SDP. Nobody is currently being moved onto UC.
From 27 January next year you will be able to move to UC and will get an additional transitional amount - but this may not fully compensate for the loss of SDP. https://cpag.org.uk/welfare-rights/resources/article/transitional-sdp-amountInformation I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Some rules may be different in other parts of UK.1 -
I don't know why you've started a new thread with this question when you've been asking the same thing on this thread https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6177830/esa-support-group-uc-lcwra-permitted-work#latestIt causes confusion when starting multiple threads.

Yeah I don't know why the weird duplication and cross over happened. They were about different subjects to begin with and then I confused things. Apologies.1
