Quidco missing transaction

Hi,

I took out RAC car insurance via Quidco on Sunday 2nd August 2020 logging in at 14:15. The quote was competitive and combined with the good cashback offer I bought the car insurance. However, it appears that the transaction was not logged by Quidco and so my car insurance purchase via the Quidco website wasn't tracked. I used Chromium at the time of the purchase and I have evidence of the history.  Also, and this is the important thing, the Quidco website states "Quidco Compare Car Insurance does not allow raising claims". I'm wondering what the point is of using Quidco if the logging of the transactions can be a hit and miss affair.

Is there anything I can do?

The point of using Quidco and indeed Top Cashback is that you can sometimes get a bonus on a transaction that you would otherwise be making anyway.
Sometimes it doesn't work so as long as you don't use it as a deciding factor you haven't lost anything.

Support > missing cashback claim

I use their compare.
But then also use the main site to go direct to company as often the deals are better value with total cost.

Hi Fred, assuming you have tracked it correctly, give it a few more weeks.  I think it was about 4-6 weeks before it appeared on my tracking record (then another 4 months or so before you actually get the payment).  If you look at this page

it explains that it can be up to 90 days before it tracks (I am guessing to avoid those that buy to get the cashback and then cancel).

I did the same on Friday - I bought RAC car insurance and expected a £45 cashback - it still has not tracked (6 days) and Quidco are ignoring my calls for help !

I've been with Quidco for 12 years and have to say that their support is now appalling !
