Paypal Blocked
So, I am due to enter an IVA with the creditor meeting due shortly, one of the creditors is Paypal credit.
When speaking to the debt company I mentioned about PayPal where PayPal credit is a creditor and they specifically said that the PayPal account would be fine and only the credit part would be closed.
As you can guess even though the meeting hasn't happened yet, I logged into PayPal and was greeted with a message saying "There is a problem with your account, click here to resolve it" I was just thinking that it would be where I was behind on PayPal credit payments.
So I clicked on the message and was greeted with a message saying "You can't use Paypal anymore". I phoned them up and they said that it was a PayPal credit issue and was transferred through and was told that PayPal would be active again after PayPal Credit is settled. It looks like 5-6 years of no PayPal now which is a bit of an inconvenience.
The overdraft facility from the bank account is already removed before the meeting as well (the account was in credit but did have a credit card from the bank which is included in the IVA, and a bank account has been opened elsewhere)
Does it seem strange that these things have happened before the meeting, or is this normal to happen before the meeting?
