Halifax/Leeds Permanent Building Society

Had an old morgage with the leeds permanent building society which the Halifax took over looking to claim ppi Halifax say they need an account number i dont have one the morgage was in 1988.
Any suggestions.

PPI was unusual in the 80s. Even if you had it back then it predates the period when the banks started misselling it.
It is over 30 years ago and predates insurance regulation by 17 years. At the time, there probably would have been little more than a short A5 form.
