ParkingEye Seel Street Liverpool - Paid for ticket - Only have bank statement

I got a Parking Charge Notice (29/07/20) for a fine from ParkingEye for parking 42minutes at Seel Street Car Park (seen some posts about these guys already) on 25/07/20.
I know I paid the parking, I cannot find the ticket - but I paid by card and my transactions show a £2 payment (which I believe should be for 1hour - I can't find their exact charges on the internet but pretty sure it's for an hour since all the parking around that area charge that or less; and I don't remember being worried when I left that we overstayed) on that day to:
FRENSON CAR PARKS LIMI LIVERPOOL GBR

I read the novice forum and was about to send the template back with screenshot of my bank transaction?? - I don't have the full statement yet as it's too soon - is this appropriate?
I see that all advice makes a point of not identifying the driver - does my bank details do this? I paid for it, but my wife was driving and is the registered owner of the car.

Thanks!!

You mean registered keeper , not owner , ownership is irrelevant

If she is the RK then she received the NTK , not you , so you have nothing to do with the process , but you can assist her with her appeal. It is not a fine , it's an invoice for breaking the parking contract , you did not receive the PCN , your wife did , in her name , not yours

She appeals as keeper , using the blue text template , if Parking Eye complied with POFA then it's irrelevant who was driving , or who paid for the parking

Chances are it's either an overstay or an incorrect VRM was used , maybe a typo ? So check if a keying error caused the PCN

Nine times out of ten these tickets are scams, so consider complaining to your MP., it can cause the scammer extra costs, and in some cases, cancellation.

Parliament is well aware of the MO of these private parking companies, many of whom are former clampers, and on 15th March 2019 a Bill was enacted to curb the excesses of these shysters. Codes of Practice are being drawn up, an independent appeals service will be set up later this year,

Just as the clampers were finally closed down, so hopefully will many of these companies, persistent offenders denied access to the DVLA database and unable to operate.

Hopefully life will become impossible for the worst of these scammers, but until this is done you should still complain to your MP, citing the new legislation.

You never know how far you can go until you go too far.

It's probably for taking more than 5 mins to pay, from driving past the ANPR camera.

Submit the forum template appeal but change it to ask about the consideration and grace periods that ParkingEye have applied and also what is the grace period in the landowner contract, if longer (e.g. 15/20 minutes).  Also ask for the tariff list of costs per hour for that car park and attach your proof of paying, and ask for evidence of their '17 manual checks' to discount the possibility of a near-miss VRM keying error, because the attached statement proves the driver was a paying patron.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
