I absolutly love my dovet and althought it only cost me £20 to buy I did get it washed in the summer at a laundrette painfully for £20!!!!! But this was the first time I had washed it in 3 years...

I have yet to wash my pillows (brought two years ago) but I do have pillow protectors on under pillow cases and these get washed monthly (bedding gets washed either weekly or fortnightly depending on how sweaty and lazy I am...)

I must admit though in this weather I have packed away my dovet (after airing it on the line for the day) and am sleeping with just my duvet cover!!!

I also have a blanket on my mattress that gets cleaned evey year and a mattress protector under my bottom sheet that gets cleaned every month (same as the pillow protectors)

I have also yet to get any bed buddies/die off!!!! I think it's not great to be too clean as your baby needs a bit of dirt to learn to fight off bugs!
