Hi - i know this post is over a year old but it applies to me. Was there an outcome as to whether billywolf Mum did get housing benefit from the Council instead of via the Pension Credit route. Thanks0

Housing Benefit is always paid by your local council. Receiving Pension Credit only affects how much you get. DWP notifies your local council of your PC status, and the council work out your benefit accordingly.callowzena said:Hi - i know this post is over a year old but it applies to me.
