Hey guys. We have a 2m squared water-damaged patch of ceiling with holes from a trace and access job. I've been quoted £395 to remove and replace 2m square of board, and skim coat just that area from a reputable company. I live in Birmingham and thought this was a little high? Guy quoting seemed to think he would do it himself, and be done in less than a day. Any thoughts?
