Spoonie's advice was correct, the MIF doesn't apply to everyone that's self employed, it depends on your circumstances.

srpsrp made a general observation about people who have a mix of employment and self employment. Spoonie pointed out, correctly, that whether or not this would result in nil UC payable would depend on the circumstances. Can't see anything wrong with that.almanak said:

Some rules may be different in other parts of UK.1
