An odd story for the bored!

Someone started the ebay thread when they spotted all these apparently knitted items listed at £280. Eventually the seller joined the thread and said she was selling them on behalf of her friend... who was mentally ill and was convinced each item was a valuable masterpiece. I think friend was also dying... anyway, it was all a bit bizarre.
Story didn't really check out so everyone was speculating about what was really going on... from hi-jacked account to spurned ex-lover
Think of the fees....My TV is broken!
Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j0 -
The sellers unsold item total comes in at over £100k!!!!!!!!!!!
Some sort of very weird, ill thought out scam? The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -
I was looking forward to reading this but the threads gone.

Ah well.
The booties being for 34 year olds made me laugh though. Oh, and the fact that the seller was selling them for £280.2019 Wins
