I think you will find the problem was with WPD (apparently not having the cable because of the supply problems during COVID, etc).

Has anyone who invested in the first windfarm had any discount off their bills yet? Is it what you were expecting?
I have paid the £25 to get the offer on Monday, but now not sure whether to proceed further or not.
I suppose one aspect that I am not sure about is that if it takes 10-20 years to get in to profit from the initial investment, I have read that the farm itself is likely to be okay, if ripple goes under, someone else will take over the management, however, what happens if Octopus or the other energy partners goes under?0 -

It's been rumoured, and it is only a rumour, that windfarm 2 will consist of two turbines, each of greater capacity than WF 1 and located in the NE of Scotland!Guess we shall just have to wait until 9am Monday to discover how true or otherwise that rumour might be.But an exciting prospect all the same.East coast, lat 51.97. 8.26kw SSE, 23° pitch + 0.59kw WSW vertical. Nissan Leaf plus Zappi charger and 2 x ASHP's. Givenergy 8.2 & 9.5 kWh batts, 2 x 3 kW ac inverters. Indra V2H . CoCharger Host, Interest in Ripple Energy & Abundance.3

Yes, that was my assumption. 4000 x 900Wp is far more than one onshore turbine. The windfarm near me, that was completed about 5 years ago, has 2MWp turbines. I think road transport considerations are the limiting factor for onshore turbines.

The offer has gone live.
I'm a little concerned about the build timeline in the document which doesn't see the turbine go online until November 2023 - assuming everything goes to plan. The foundations aren't due until December 2022.
The finacial model is as follows :
