Ripple Energy wind farm?

As you might recall, Kirk Hill will be delivering future member payments via the Ethex platform. I didn't have a pre-existing Ethex account, so a few weeks ago (possibly late August) I completed the Kirk Hill Ethex registration form.
Everything went quiet until last week, when I received an email from Ethex saying they were going to complete their know-your-customer checks. Those could take six weeks, and after that there would be another two week delay before KH could pay me anything.
So it seems things are happening, albeit slowly!
Unrelated to Ethex, I was looking at the KH dashboard earlier. I thought the annual totals were interesting.
Looking at what my 1280-watt share of the farm (0.068% of it!) made, and comparing to my energy import as reported in the Octopus app:
- 2025: 3650 kWh from Kirk Hill, vs. 3030 kWh imported.
- 2026 to date: 3130 kWh from KH, vs. 3300 kWh imported.
Considering we hadn't bought an EV when I joined KH, and so I had to guess how much electricity we'd be using, that's not a bad match.

Hats off to the developer/coder, it is excellent and keeps getting excellenter. I thought I was hallucinating, at first, when the tomorrow forecast appeared on the drop-down.

My Kirk Hill account was set up from the beginning of September. I think it was slightly quicker as Derill Water started the process ahead of Kirk Hill (which was set up towards the end of August for me) so adding Kirk Hill was relatively quick. It has been slow (I think I first got an email on the subject back in March or April) but they've had a lot of us to process. It should go smoothly from here all being well.

Yes, just multiplied my watts by 21p!
And a bonus "payment", for anyone who hasn't already discovered this, try zooming out the turbine map on the dashboard.

Kirk Hill money paid and in the bank! You need to get onto the Ethex site and arrange a bank transfer.

That's good to know! Although I don't think Ethex has finished my AML checks yet.

As soon as you are set up add your bank details to your account. My payment came through without me having to ask although I suspect you may need to request your first payment as you will have added your bank after the payment was put in your Ethex account.

That's interesting ET, as it has arrived in my Ethex account also. I've been with them a few years now, but I wonder if there is an option to automatically transfer any funds direct your bank account as I have to physically withdraw mine which I've yet to do preferring to reinvest in other renewable energy causes as they come on offer.
